Hi everyone, Nearly forgot to make this card its for someone who has a birthday on boxing day and what with christmas i nearly always forget till last minute.
I am going to enter Kaboodles Challenge with this as they have left it open till 10th jan and its aimed at creations for males.
As time is tight i just used a print from pc and some backing paper from my stash hope you like it :)
Well only 2 more sleeps and the man in red will have been hope you all get everything you want especially all the crafting goodies :)

Hi everyone hope your all enjoying the run up to christmas, I have done a birthday card for a change for someone who has a birthday very close to christmas.
I am entering it into just christmas and birthdays challenge this week its a fab sketch by Gry-Heidi.
I have done a decoupaged tulips in a pot for image papers are Papermania creative tones (amethyst infusion), cardstock from cor'dinations sentiment i stamped in purple ink and heat embossed with clear powder, flowers and gems from stash.

Hi everyone hope your all well, i am feeling a little better now and my son asked me to make him these cards for 2 of his teachers last night he wanted them both more or less the same wíth a christmas tree so i have used a free download from scrapbookingmad i added little dots on the tree with sukura glitter pens. He was well pleased with them bless him.
That set me off and i made another 3 cards after those for family members will post a pic of them tomorrow :)
Right i am off to get a hot bath and early night as this flu has really worn me out cant wait to get back to normal and feeling myself again so i'll say goodnight all n god bless x

Hi all hope you had a fabby weekend even though it was so cold brrrrrr,
For my entry to Kaboodles Doodles Challenge, "This week the challenge is Squares and Rectangles are out! We want to see shaped cards and items".
is my new tool pot that i made from a soup tin its just perfect much nice than the drab black desk tidy i was using and it does'nt keep falling over lol, i was inspired to make this by Beth when i saw hers.
I have used DCWV cardstock from the spring glitter stack and ribbon, gems etc from my stash. I also made a base from a felt table protector (i bought it ages ago and got size wrong far too small for my table so glad i got some use out of it lol) this stops it from sounding tinny and scratching table too.

Evening all, wow two cards in one day lol this one is a card i have done for Cupcake craft challenge
which is a sketch and this is what they would like: "You can turn it sideways, or change the dimensions, but we want to see the original design. In the card I would like you also to use the colour BROWN; be it in the embellishments, Paper or Image, or in all of them. It is up to you to decide where. Also I would like you to have AT LEAST 1 scalloped edge in your creation. The sentiment's position, and whether you want to include one, is up to you"

Hi everyone,
No cards made as i have been busy with other stuff (boring things like housework etc) with the exception of my trip to town with Mel (daughter) of course, wow she got some fab stamps i am so green lol.
However i did manage to get a hienz soup tin to look good :)

I was inspired by Beth after seeing the one she made its lovely as are all her creations take a look here and see for yourself.

Here is the one i made its replaceing a boring black desk tidy that drives me nuts as it keeps falling over :)
So a big thanks to Beth and here it is
the hearts are a pearly pink but some look yellow in the pic dont know why??

Hi crafters, I made this card for a very lovely lady and i know its safe to show now as i know she has recieved it by now.

i am entering this into the ABC challenge this week as its R for ribbon and you have to have ribbon somewhere on your card.

I have done another card i have coloured the image with Prisma's first time i've used these not sure i have done it right but thought i would give them a go. This is for the Magnolia v Stampavie challenge which this week is (tie that sketch).

Cards for two challenges

Hi everyone hope you all had a great weekend,I have done both cards for Just Christmas and Birthdays Challenge which was a sketch to follow.
The christmas one i am also entering in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which is a colour theme red and green this week.
For the christmas card i have used Dovecraft papers (tis the season), FF stamp from my new xmas pack, sentiment printed on pc from Dotties christmas download and rest from stash.
For the birthday card, Papermania creative tones (amethyst infusion), Image i recieved in a RAK, sentiment i created myself on pc and ribbon,flower ,button from my stash.

Hi everyone, Just done this card this morning for my daughter and dh (she wont see it believe me i know).

For this challenge, they would like to see three different papers being used on your cards.

My card for Friday Sketches and PWCT Challenges

Hi all, I have managed to fit this into two challenges this week Friday Sketches which is a sketch of course and PWCT which calls for simply sparkling.
As you can see i have used my new Dottie and George only got them last night could not wait to play with them and i printed them in colour and added sone sparkle, papers are DCWV and the red one is Anita's classic reds, Dovecraft ribbon, personal wording done on my pc and christmas sentiment from my stash, oh and the glitter is gold stickles and glitz it sparkles.

Double Challenge 18th birthday card for my son

Hi all, I managed to do this one to fit two challenges Dottie's World Sunday Challenge and Lily of the Valley Challenge which is for a teenagers card.

For this i have used drummer George, coloured with whispers strokes pens and added blue sukura sparkle pen round edge of drums and tips of his hair clear sparkle sukura pen for drumskin and rub ons for sentiments.
Down the side of the card i have put in some black and white eyelets and threaded black ribbon through and 4 little button brads around image.
My son had some black drums about 6 years ago lost interest so he sold them but wishes he had some now so i thought he might like this

My Card for Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

Hi everyone, Hope your all having a good weekend its a dark and gloomy day here :( but on the bright side i got to make a card :)
I have done this one for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge
This week's challenge which is another fantastic sketch but this time with a twist. It has been set by the lovely DT member JILL. The twist to the sketch is that you must use the colours pink, white and brown.
The wreath is an xcut die, plain paper and stamp are from dovecraft, snowflake paper from DCWV ribbon from American Craft Elements rest from my stash.
I am not sure if i like this card but maybe it will grow on me lol

Sparkle and Bling For Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge

Hi everyone, Here is my card for Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge which is for sparkle and bling this week. I have added silver stickles all around the card and sentiment and some clear gems and flower gems in pink. The stripe card is from DCWV spring glitter pack and the pink paper from K&Company ribbon from Chatterbox and the image is a RAK from a very kind fellow blogger. I have coloured the background with my shimmer paints and added a few flowers.

PTWC Another entry

Hi all, Here are some treat bags i have made for my grandson Reuben's big halloween party need 20 so only got to make another 12 but they are very quick to make so no probs lol.

I have used the Happy Halloween 2 free download to make the bag tops It is from
Summer Driggs (she has the most wonderful paper downloads which she shares freely such a generous Lady) I am very thankful to her as i had nothing at all to use for halloween projects. I would like to enter this into PTWC and i have already entered a card so i dont really know if i can but i will and if i should not have then i'm sorry and please disregard my entry :)

21st Birthday card (last minute)

Hi everyone hope you've had a great day,
I certainly have i got an award from Poppet and tagged by Elaine all in the same day will have to have a think on the tag and sort it in a bit as i have been busy making this card only just been asked to make it this evening by my dh for his sisters daughter Emma how could we forget i mean 21 its a milestone and there's no excuses :(
Anyway here is the card
The stripe paper from k & company, the numbers are cut on my cricut with george and basic shapes cartridge and the rest from my stash i have attached the stars to acetate strips and mounted the circle with foam pads so when you move it the stars flutter about, the pink card is pearlised but this does not show on the pic (although the acetate shows more on the pic than in real life) and i have done faux stitching around the card and numbers. I hope she likes it :)

Halloween Challenges

Hi all, Hope you all had a great weekend:0)

This is my very first halloween card ever and i have managed to get it into 2 challenges this week the Papertake Weekly Challenge and A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge both of them have halloween theme.

The papers and pumpkins i have used are a fabulous free download from Summer Driggs called Happy Halloween-2.

The spiders are from the cricut cartridge doodlecharms.

Sentiment done on the pc, the larger spider is attached to the back of sentiment with black wire so he is able to wriggle about and i have used sukura stardust pens to add a little sparkle and i added some black velvet ribbon.

Now i have to make another one as i need one each for my two youngest grandchildren this one is for my grandaughter and you will never guess her name............. so i am gonna have to tell you its.............Spiderlouise unusual or what lol.

Hi all, Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
I found time to do a little yesterday so i made this christmas card for the Lily of the Valley Challenge 4 (321)
I wanted to be a little green and use up some scraps so i found the papers left over from another card i made quite a while ago (prob last year lol) they are from tinkers & co, the sizzix santa i found in my box of die cuts already made up from i dont know when?
So here it is using 3 papers, 2 ribbons and 1 brad.

Baby's Christening

Hi again,

Made this yesterday for someone who saw and loved the new baby card i made last week. The crib is cut from Cricut cartridge New Arrival,

dots are gold stickles, gold ricrac is papermania sparkling trims, card DCWV spring glitter stack, sentiments done on pc and rest from my stash. I skimmed round the edges of matting with a chizel tip gold uni paint marker.

Super 50th birthday

Hi again, My daughter (the crafty one) and I worked together on this card today, my (not crafty) daughter had asked us both to do it for her and all the staff at the centre where she is Manager to send to the lady caretaker of the centre. It had to show what a multi tasker this lady is ie: she cooks, cleans,helps out in nursery and lots of DIY tasks she also likes pink and sparkles so here it is hope she likes it :)
the paint can & brush is ellison thin cut die, hammer and screwdriver QC dies, papers and card from stash and all the other things cut on the cricut using paper dolls and george and basic shapes cartridges. unusual card hope you like it :)
