Hi everyone,
Just dropped by to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
I know i have not posted for such a long time and i am sorry for that but life has got in the way lots of stuff been happening some good some not so good and time seems to fly not enough of it i'm afraid.
I hope you are all in good health and enjoying life and of course your crafting i do hope to be browsing through everyones blog from time to time and who knows i may even get some more posts in(hopefully).

Hello and good morning all,

Just thought i would do a short post to let you know i am still here........its just been so hectic so far this year.......i have had workmen all over the house with the decency program run by the council........had to pack all my craft stash and pc away for 6 weeks (what a killer lol)

Now i am in the midst of painting and decorating...........i have every room in the house to do and with working as well i'm afraid i have done no crafting at all (not even unpacked it all yet).

Well thats all i have time for now must get back to the painting:(

Morning everyone hope you are all keeping warm and cosy,the best place is indoors at your craft desk but i went back to work yesterday as my leg is so much better,still aches a little now and again but it will take more than that to stop me lol.

Well i have managed another card and it fits 2 challenges which are

Just Magnolia Special Monthly Challenge

which is paper pleating i followed the tutorial by Mina on the just magnolia blog and i am quite pleased with the result thanks Mina:)

and

Just Christmas and Birthdays Sketch 53

which is a super sketch to follow by Georgia
I am last minute with this one sorry:)
and
Think Ink Challenge 11

which is to make a monochromatic card

I have used for this card

My Minds Eye (everyday tango) papers

Image is Tilda coloured in rangers distress inks dress broken china,roses

faded jeans,hair mustard seed,skin tattered rose and worn lipstick.

I used a punch to make flowers and added a gem to centre.

gems and ribbon from stash.

I have done the inside too with my nesties labels and stamped the sentiment with rangers distress ink (broken china) which i have used for all the distressing on the card.

Thats about it better post this quick or will never get it in on time last minute again lol.

Just Magnolia Challenge 38 and Stamp Something Challenge

Hi everyone Happy New Year to you all!!!!!!
Hope your all coping with the weather, I slipped yesterday on my way to work but managed to get there had a busy day and was hobbling about and it was hurting but i kept plodding on as you do.
When i got home and got to sit down for a rest i could not get back up i was in a lot of pain with my right leg so i have not gone in today, this morning it does feels a lot better but will see if being on it makes it worse.
I really hate being laid up like this but thank god i have not broken anything as so many people have had more serious injury's due to this weather and i wish them all a good quick recovery.

So here i am resting and i've done a little crafting yes at last my first card of 2010

i have used my new stamp giggling Tilda and my new Rangers distressing ink pads to watercolour her with.

I have done 3 snowflake cards for my 3 eldest grandaughters all the same sort of design but in colours which are favorites for each of them.
Of course they have them by now and they love them.
I used nestabilities snowflake dies and scallop circles to make them, i did the insides too but forgot to take a pic of the inside doh.

For this card i used a Magnolia snowman stamp for the image and coloured it with Rangers Distress Inks, added glitter for the sparkle, snowflakes cut on the cricut and puch out flakes in centre.
The card is cut with nestabilitie scallop circle,ribbon from stash

the inside was created on pc, cut out with nestabilities

Card for Kaboodle Doodle Challenge (Snowflakes)

Hi all here i am again in a mad rush just finished 3 identical cards here is one of them, i am entering this into a challenge but must be fast cos it ends tonight.

Its for Kaboodle Doodle Challenge
Which this week is snowflakes.

I've used Nestabilitie for scalloped circle and for the snowflake, added a snowflake brad to centre of finished snowflake, papers Anita's classic christmas red collection (lol not a bit of red on the card) the inside is done with nestabilitie labels die and stamped with a forever friends sentiment stamp.

A Card for Just Magnolia Special Challenge 34 :0)

Hi everyone sure have missed you all,sorry i have been a bad blogger but things have been so hectic here i just run out of time.

This is the first bit of crafting i have done for ages but i had to get it done as its a card for my grandaughter for christmas, i am so behind with christmas its scary i've only got 1 pressie so far and i'm in a panic is anyone else the same or is it just me ?

It fits a challenge so i am entering it into
Just Magnolia week 34 Special Monthly Challenge
Which is make a card for someone special and i made this for my grandaughter who special she has an unusual name and no one can ever find anything with her name so as you can see on the inside i have popped her name inside a circle sentiment.
I have used Tilda (santa's little helper) she is adorable just like my GD.

I coloured her with Ranger distress inks (dress in fired brick,face in tattered rose,worn lipstick) and glittered the white on her hat, her apron and stockings.
I used nestabilitie scalloped circle to cut card and insert and ran the silver card through with cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder, snowflakes are punch outs and ribbon from stash.

Two cards for two challenges

Hi everyone hope your having a good weekend.

The weather here is horrid,damp and cold and i dont like it one bit but it does have a good side,who wants to go out in it much nicer to stay in and craft :) so thats what i've done today

and here is the result i have made 2 cards.

This one is for
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge 7
which is going dotty
so i have used some dottie paper at the top and dotted some faux brads on the card too.
Papers are Kay&Company,image is from the Dottie and George rock n roll collection,round sentiment created on pc and name stamped with see d's alphabet stamps.

My other card is for
One Stop Craft Challenge 54
which is to make a card for kids
so i have done Spiderman image
decoupaged it and done a book a trix card with it.
I have no idea where i got this decoupage sheet from
as i've had it a couple of years and only just got round to using it at last.
I have done a close up of the decoupage below.

Evening everyone,
Hope you all had a fun halloween,i had a great time but ate too much and now i am dreading the weigh in on wednesday at Slimming World.

Well i managed to have a little crafting time today a day off work.......Matthew back at school and hubby in bed as he works nights so i left the chores for a while and made a card and its for three challenges:)

Halloween spiders web cupcakes

Hi all,
Just thought i would show you some of the halloween spiders web cakes i have made for my G S halloween party tomorrow, i made some for his birthday in february but used red and blue so they were spiderman cakes and he loved them so much he is a big spidyman fan bless him.

He is so excited about tomorrow and my son Matthew has been at their house all day helping them make trimmings,cutting out bats and pumpkins to hang around it will be a lot of fun and i will have my witches hat and cloak on to go trick or treating with them before the party kicks off ooooooh i can't wait :)

I have used a free download from Pollycrafts Halloween Kitty which i have had for a while and never used till now.

cardstock from stash and papers are Kay & Company,i used copics for the Kitty's head and body,and RoseArt Glitter Magic Markers for the pumpkins and Kitty's hat dress and cloak. The sentiments are fromCrystal Clear Stamps and i stamped the bats and cut them out.

Hi everyone hope your all feeling good, I've actually got a little crafting done (looks like its gonna be a weekly thing as yet cos its so hectic here lately:(.

Well i did manage 1 challenge this week and it for Forever Friends Chellenge which is "Wrap it up" so i made a box as i do need one this month for my grandaughters birthday and i'll cram it full of goodies for her.
I know i'm last minute with this and i'm sorry just hopeing i am not too late:)

and was very easy to do.

I have used a Penny Black image coloured with Promarkers and i've used a snow writer for hats and snow then dusted it with angel dust to give it a sparkle, DCWV papers, Nestabilitie shapes and rest from stash:)

Good evening everyone, Hope you are all keeping fit and well i am really missing my crafting and blogging but i have managed to find a little time from somewhere and made a christmas card.

This just so happens to fit two challenges :)
The Pink Elephant Challenge#30

which is 1 Ribbon, 2 Squares and Something that Sparkles
I have glittered the snowfakes and the ribbon is sparkly

Stamp something Challenge

which is Animal Somethings!

i used penguins for the image

Image is from elsybells coloured with Prisma pencils and blended,

sentiment is heat embossed, snowflakes stamped and glittered,

everything else from stash.

update on Slimming world it was the weigh in tonight and i lost 4lb this week yay thats a total of 3st 3.5lb woo-hoo i am well pleased.

well its late and i gotta go to the land of nod lol up early for work tomorrow so i'll bid you all a very good night god bless and hopefully see more of you all soon:)

1. I totally love Harry Potter films and Dr Who.

2. I am a hoarder and cannot bear to throw anything away even if i have no use for it ( but i'm working on de-cluttering and believe me its very difficult)

3.I have just started work again after a break of 6 years.

4.I had my first child when i was 18 and my last one at 45 (i have 5 children in total and went 16yrs between my 3rd and 4th child)

I have made 2 things today, this is a bag which i got the download for a while ago and first time i've used it, it was from http://www.daisiecompany.com/

cupcake embellies i made using a FF small cupcake stamp and i cut 3 little cupcakes from papers to put in centre of sentiment which i got from here (i bought it a while ago when they were selling a surprise bag full of stamps), rest is from my stash......................................................... Phew 3rd time i've done this post it all keeps disapearing apart from the pics wont seem to save so i'm gonna post it without checking anything

the weather has been lovely here this afternoon
suns been out and very warm a change from this morning
wet and dreary hope you've all had some sunshine :)

At last i made a card and its for
Crafty Creations Challenge #28

which this week is to see yellow on your card

I have used a freebie Flower Pot image for this card
it was from Fred she Said
check it out lots of lovely digi images to buy there.
i watercoloured it with shimmer paints and whispers stroke pens
papers are Papermania (12x12 called the big one)
i used my nestabilities and SU scallop circle punch
everything else from my stash.

Afternoon everyone,

Are we having glorious weather or what
(i keep pinching myself so i know i'm not dreaming it) lol.
well i've got no crafting done apart from gardening
and house chores, not much else of anything (how boring am i)
So i've nothing to show you that i've made........but
my Dear Daughter Mel made me a wonderful gift to cheer me up

i thought i would share pics of it with you all

so here it is a wonderful storage tote......
and whats more she filled it with goodies for me.......
aint she just the best.

on this side the pouch has a lovely note pad she has made.
here is the other side to it,with a little box with
a magnetic fastening

the other two sides have pouches too and
they were all full of goodies see the pic of goodies below:)

I have to go hopefully i will get some me time very soon and do some crafting and needless to say the gift really cheered me up

Hi everyone sorry i've been a bit of a bad blogger lately but life tends to stop you getting on with it sometimes as you all know only too well :)

I have not decorated the inside i may just pop an insert in i have'nt made up my mind yet.

I've used a FF image coloured with promarkers and white glittered his coat edges, Nestabilities to cut the shape i've mounted him on, Woodware flower and leaf punch to make the flower, papers are DCWV christmas stack, Sizzix die for tag which i heat embossed the sentiment on to and the ribbon and card candy from stash there thats it why did it take me so long to make cos my mojo kept taking off for a break i think:)

Hi everyone hope your all fit and well.

I would like to thank all of you that left the kind comments for me on my last post which was about my Sister, thank you so much, we are waiting for test results so they can determine the treatment she will need and i will let you know how things are when i have more info.

I was at a loose end with the news and could not seem to get anything done........so i have turned to my crafting and found it to be quite relaxing and it's stoping my mind from wondering off to lots of "why and how come" questions, of course the answers no one knows.
I am so thankfull for becoming part of this very careing community its like having an extended family.

Now on to the crafting i've done, its a card and it fits four challenges.

Upsetting news and an award

Hi everyone hope you've all had a good weekend

I've had some very upsetting news today

I got a call from my Sister and she has breast cancer,
i was absolutely shocked as she herself lost her own daughter
(my niece) to cancer only 18 months ago at the age of 41

and after having lost another of my sisters to that
very same thing 8 years ago at the age of 52 i

can only imagine what she must be going through.

I only hope that it will have been caught in time to cure it

and she will be in my thoughts and prayers from now until they do.

So i'm off to see her tomorrow to give her all the help and support i can.

Please spare a little prayer for her and god willing
she will overcome this terrible disease.

I have managed another card today and its for

this week its a sketch to follow

and there are some beautiful cards from the Dt's to inspire you.

for my card i have used a gorgeous FF image of course coloured him with Promarkers
and coloured his balloon with a sparkly sukura pen

blue cordination cardstock which i have embossed with swiss dots folder, papers are Dovecraft Masculine, i have cut the oval out with my new nestabilities which i got for my birthday :) sentiment, message tags from Daisy and Dandelion i've also done a bit of doodleing too.

i have also done the inside of the card using another nestabilities shape which i also got for my birthday :)

here is my card

I have used Anita's classic christmas red papers,
the image is a freebie Digital Stamp Oasis
coloured with promarkers
and i got it here on Ellie's blog.
Nestabilities shapes, pointsettia and holly i made using a Woodware jumbo punch,
ribbon and sentiment from stash, i've doodled round papers with gold sukura pen and used art glitter glue for snow and sprinkled with white glitter.
i have decorated the inside too :)

Hi all this is my third post today :)

I have made this card for four challenges

Die Cut Dreams Challenge which this week is to use Black and White
and Secret Crafters Saturday challenge which is spots n stripes

and Papertake Weekly Challenge is to take your pick colour combi
i chose black and white
and i followed a sketch over at Elsybells Challenge

I have done the inside of it too see pic below

for this card i have used DCWV black & white paper stack, Elsybells image
(paperpieced her dress) and Elsybells sentiment, nestabilities shape, swiss dots embossing folder, flowers and flatback pearls from stash.

Here is my next card this one is for two challenges

i have had a busy one......
School is out for the summer and my youngest son Matthew
has gone to Newquay for the week with his eldest sister and family
my eldest son has gone to house sit for them and look after thier two dogs
so i have to keep going around to check he is ok
its the first time he has been on his own at night and i'm a worry wart :)
but i have managed to get a card done at last
after doing the insides of 12 cards to finish them off
i will do the insides right away in future as i have for this one ;0)

I've done another card tonight (i must be on a roll lol)

i have paper pieced top half of shorts
Tshirt under her top and also the shopping bags
i used some gold twine for bag handles
i coloured her top blue with a pro marker
coloured the large flower to match (it was a white one).

this is also for Lilli of the Valley challenge
which is a sketch to follow.

sentiment stamp from stamping all day

Hi everyone, hope you all had a fab weekend.

Here is my card for
Truly Scrumptious Challenge 11
i made one earlier for this and when i posted it i realised i had not read the challenge properly lol i only followed the sketch and did not use the colours doh silly me :)

as luck would have it though i had done it to enter FF so it was'nt too bad.

I have used one of the stamps i bought
from the Craft Magic show which i went
to, the image is from Little Trumpettes, Marie Plane Collection as is the sentiment, paper are Dovecraft Kate Knight (a hint of pink) again i used my Multi Shaper punch to make the lace edge circle and lacey bit under ribbon cos i am lovin that punch:0), ribbon, flowers, brad and cardstock from stash.

Hi everyone this is a very quick post
as its very late again :)

I have made this card for
the Nutshells Challenge
Release day for the Nutshells Boys has finally arrived
and to celebrate they are having a challenge.
They would like for you to create a card for
a Man/Boy using the colours Blue and Green.

I have used Edwin on his books for this
Watercoloured with my whispers strokes pens
used papers from K&company called hopscotch, sentiment stamp was free in a magazine and fits my SU scalloped punch perfectly :), doodled around edge and rest is from stash :)

Morning everyone,

I have made another card for
Just Christmas and Birthdays Challenge
this week which is a great sketch to follow.
I am also entering this card into
Papertake weekly Challenge
which is favorite things this week (i just love snowmen one of many favorite things about christmas)
I have used Papermania (wonderful christmas time paper pack)
Penny Black sentiment stamp from giving and receiving set a set which i won from the lovely Ann @ Craftroom Creations

I made up the little snowmens heads on my cricut using Speaking of Winter cartridge, i used one of my fav stickles gold glitter on the card and used my SU scalloped punch, ribbon and eyelets from my stash thants about it hope you like it and thank you for taking the time to look :0)

I almost forgot i have also done the inside of the card i used a MF Crystal Clear phrase stamp and coloured the holly with my sukura glitter pens :)

I am sorry to say i'm going to miss you all this weekend as i have to visit my sick sister in Blackpool thats if all goes to plan fingers crossed. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend whatever the weather :)

for my christmas card i have used
a little robin stamp coloured with watercolours (dont know what make it is sorry)

papers Dovecraft contempary Christmas, 1st sentiment is from dotties world Bumper Christmas Collection, 2nd sentiment i stamped, red cardstock and brad from stash and i used gold stickles round all edges

The Birthday card i made to match the box i made its in previous post
this is for my grandaughter, image is a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with pro markers, papers from DCVW Sweet Stack, beads i made and added charm, flowers and crads from stash.

Pretty packaging for two challenges SCSC & Charismacards

Hi everyone,
It sure is hot here but we do have a bit of a breeze today, it did try to rain yesterday :0(
but Matthew was having none of it he was doing what he calls his sun dance he was'nt going to let it rain on his birthday :0)
How are you all hope your not getting overheated although i was at times yesterday but we had a great day and Matthew thoroughly enjoyed it.

On to my project i did last night and this is it:
This is for Secret Crafters Saturday Challenge 38#
which is pretty packaging.
I am also entering this into Charisma cards Challenge 25#
which this week is anything you want and you can enter up to four times. I made this box for my grandaughter as its her birthday 25th july (the day before mine)
as she has quite an unusual name it is impossible to find things with her name on she always looks at the things in shops with names to see if she can find hers but never does, so i know she will be so pleased with it and i will make her a card to match this too.
The box is called all in one box designed by Monica Gale for one of the Stamp With Us online classes and was very easy to do.
I used cardstock from stash papers are DCWV Sweet Stack
I coloured Tilda with promarkers and used sukura glitter pen for her wings, cut her out and popped her onto a scallop circle which i mounted with foam pads.
I also cut some flowers from the sweet stack papers and popped those on with foam pads to give it a 3d effect.

Oh yes and i will fill this with goodies for her birthday :0)

Hi everyone i am posting early today as i have lots to do for matthews birthday,
I will sort out my candy to celebrate my birthday and reching over 5,000 hits and get it on my blog in the next few days i promise.

This week over at Die Cut Dreams the challenge is to make anything but a card. I have altered a large blank canvas into a photo holder to hang on the wall decorated it with papers, ribbons, flowers and brads, then i made a matching pen pot to go with it (just popped my sukura pens in for pic)
These are a gift for someone i hope they like them :)

Wow i made a card that fits 5 yes 5 challenges woo hoo

Hi everyone,
Enjoying the weather i hope, it's been red hot here today, i love it but no good when you've loads to do :)
Well its my sons birthday tomorrow he'll be 12 already i really dont know where time goes, it does'nt seem that long since he was a baby :0)

I have made him this card and guess what it fits 5 yes 5 challenges i did it for Crafty Creations 21# which this week is stars and stripes.
It also fits The Pink Elephant Challenge 21# which is favorite colour combo (matthews fav is red and blue)
and Papertake Weekly Challenge which is delightful download the image was a download from Dotties World which was given for entering a challenge there and i made a decoupage sheet from the image
and The ABC Challenge T is for which is two tone just use two colours on your card.
Last but not least Charisma Challenge 25# which is any theme any style.

A Card To Bring A smile To A Sick Child for Simon Says Challenge

Hi everyone,
Sorry i've not been to visit any of you for a few days but other things kept getting in the way, you know how they do, well i was all ready to go blog hopping last night but after reading a comment left for me by the lovely Ann (please pay her a visit and join in her candy its for a very worthwhile cause) you can pop over and see her here http://craftworkblog.blogspot.com/

So last night i just had to join in and make a card to send to Post Pals and as i am not clever enough to blog hop and make a card at the same time i chose to do a card :)
Please have some tissue's to hand when visiting Post Pals my heart goes out to all the children and there family's and i would love to make each and everyone of them a card, this one will be the first i have done but not the last i hope to do many more and help bring a little happiness to those dear little children.

And here is the card i made and will be sending to someone at Post Pals

I have used some new stamps i got from the craft fair i went to last weekend
the image is from Little Trumpettes, Marie Plane Collection and the text stamps came with them, i coloured it with a red promarker for her dress and the for the skin tone i used a coloursoft pencil blended with sansador as i dont have a pro marker in the right colour,

i used my new nesties which i love and Su scalloped circle punch, the just for you text was free in a magazine and cardstock and papers from my stash.

I had set myself a challenge to use just one colour on this card and chose red

as it was my fav when i was a child but somehow gold had to creep in lol.

oh almost forgot i did a nestie for inside too :)

Hi everyone,
Well lovely hot sunny day again and i love it, did'nt think i would get a card done today, i was out digging in the garden as i have a large overgrown border which i strimmed right down last week then we got real heavy rain..............so today i thought it would be easier to dig as ground was soft........... silly me lol yep it was easy to get the spade in but lifting the soil up and over well it weighed a ton being wet needless to say i only got half of it done and that took me 3 hours............... boy was i knic knacked................i had to stop as i was roasting alive out there :)

I had told matthew we would go for a long bike ride after school and he was so looking forward to it i had to take him.........i just hope it all helps with the weight loss lol it might as he wants us to

go on bike ride every night now:) anyway enough rambling from me and onto the card.

I did manage to get this card done though and its for
The Pink Elephant Challenge 20#

which this week is a sketch to follow.
I have used a Smirk stamp for image and text (sweet heart) and paper pieced her dress and used Pro markers to colour her, D.C.W.V the sweet stack papers, a scalloped circle punch and the white inner circle i cut on cricut, i stamped the sentiment with SU choc chip ink and inked around the centre circle, i doodled with a pink sparkle sukura pen and thats about it :)

Slimming World update

Hi everyone,
Just thought i'd post to let you know how the weigh in went at Slimming World.
I'm so pleased i lost another 1 and half pounds this week thats a total of 2st 6lb only 1lb more and i get my 2 and half stone award so fingers crossed i'll get it next week.
I feel so much better for the loss but still have a way to go to get to target, i'm so glad i joined them you get loads of support and amazingly never go hungry there is lots of stuff you can eat and really enjoy its turning out to be quite a journey for me too i love it :0)
I'm off to pick another challenge to do now, have a good night whats left of it anyway :)

Two Challenge Card for Pollycraft 18# and Just Christmas and Birthdays 37#

Hi everyone,

I have managed to make a card to fit two challenges,

I followed the sketch for Just Christmas and Birthdays Challenge and used a pollycraft image and paper to enter Pollycraft Challenge which is 'Diamond & Gems/Bling'.

Papers,Papermania & pollycraft, image Pollycraft from a Pheobe and Maude download, Sizzix scalloped oval, Su scalloped punch, sentiment made on computer, flowers and gems from stash, i have used silver stickles to follow the scroll pattern on the paper, i have also cut out and popped on the basket and brim of hat and little flowers in her hand, I've done a little something on the inside too with my nestabilities, think that covers everything :0)

Afternoon everyone, How are you all, good i hope, i'm still a bit bleary eyed, last night on my post i said i was gonna have a little play with my new copics well i played till 2-30 am and did'nt just colour an image in but made this card so much for me early night :)
Its my first attempt at copics so what do you think, not sure about them yet need more practise :)
This is for three challenges,
1....SCSC which is Pink and Green
Any creation you like as long as it's based around the colours.
2......I followed a sketch at Sketch Saturday
3......Die Cut Dreams which is spots and polka dots
So anything spotty & dotty, i added spots to the flower, used my dots embossing folder and dotted around the card all in sukura pen.

Stamp Magic Craft Fair visit

Evening everyone,

Hope you've all had a great day, i certainly did my very first visit to a craft fair and wow how i enjoyed it.

I just thought i would show you the new additions to my stash :)

It was very busy and we did'nt get home till 3pm (we got there half an hour early did'nt open till 10am)
I was hopeing to see some other bloggers there but only met one that was the lovely Bev who was demonstrating at Hobby House her blog is all the things i love it was great meeting her and watching her at work she is an amazing artist.

There was so much to see and buy i could have bought loads more but sadly funds did not permit :( never mind i love all the stuff i got (quite a lot lol) and will now be saving like crazy for the next one :)
Well i'm tired out now and want to have a little go with my new Pro Markers so will catch ya later:)

Evening everyone, I have made another card, i had to rush this one as i have been so busy with other things i forgot i had'nt made a birthday card i need for tomorrow doh :)

Anyway here it is and i am not pleased with the bears colouring but too late to do another one, i have followed a sketch on

Friday Sketchers so i am entering it into the challenge.
I have used Papers Papermania Masculine, Pollycraft image watercoloured with whispers strokes pens, Nestabilities, Sentiment tag from Stamping all Day and i made the golf ball embellies myself using dies, brad and ribbon from stash.

Fathers Day card for Cupcake Craft Challenge 44#

Hi everyone, Another card from me today this one is to enter Cupcake Craft Challenge which is to make a card for fathers day but with a twist, well i hope this counts as the twist is its for someone who's birthday is actually on fathers day this year, so i have put best dad on front and a birthday sentiment but i have to do the inside of it saying for your birthday on fathers day and that will cheese him off a bit cos he was gutted it fell on same day as he would get combined pressies for both (wonder if he thought of combined cards) lol are'nt we cruel, but he will get a seperate fathers day card but not till he's got this one.

Well i got my ticket today for the Stamp Magic craft fair at the Doncaster Dome and boy am i looking forward to it, first one i've been to :)

Forever Friends

Hi all hope you've all had a good day despite the weather.
I am feeling very pleased with myself as it was the weigh in at Slimming World tonight and now i have lost 2st 4.5lb thats 32.5lb yay :0) :0) :0)
I made a quick fathers day card tonight for my youngest son Matthew to give his dad.
I followed the sketch for the Forever Friends Challenge
and i am entering it there.
I say quick card as i used an FF sticker stuck it on card and cut it out for my image, the papers are FF too and the sentiment was a freebie from Charmed Cards and Crafts i also inked around the edges of the card with a sponge and added some gems from my stash.

Morning all, What a change in weather here come back sunshine i actually feel cold today hope its better where you are:)

Good afternoon everyone hope your all ok,

I have actually done another challenge,
a card for Truly Scrumptious which is a fab sketch by Beth also the theme for this is altered flowers. The papers were free from a magazine, i watercoloured the image which is Maggie with cupcake from Bootiful Stamps, the sentiment is from Dovecraft a Smirk Stamp, ribbon and flowers from stash, i have sponged the flowers with choc chip ink pad from S.U. and used the same method and ink pad for the rest of the card,corners were cut with a die and scalloped edge to cardstock with S.U punch, thats about it then i think.

quick post today

Hi all,
I am so glad that last night i posted the card i made even though it was very late and i prob should have been in bed.
I had a terrible night with my 11yr old son Matthew, he has had a cough now for over three weeks and our doctor said it was hay fever even though he had no runny eyes or nose, so he gave him some medicine which has not made any difference at all.
Well after getting about 1 hours sleep listening to him i was so tired but bless him he was getting worse and finding it harder to breath so at 4am i got up with him but nothing i could do made him feel any better so when he started to panic which was then making it even worse
i took him to the A&E dept at hospital.
His oxygen levels were low and high blood pressure too, he was put on oxygen then a nebuliser after which he still had a noisy chest, then sent for a chest xray and my doctor was wrong he has a pneumonia infection on his chest.
Now he is on antibiotics and an inhaler i do hope they work well, so over 5 hours later we are home he has taken some meds and is zonked out.
Now i am going to try get some sleep so wont be able to go blogg hopping but will catch up with you all later.

Hi everyone,
I bet your all fast asleep tucked up in bed lol
not me doing this very late post as i have just finished a card,
so just in case i dont get time tomorrow i thought i would post before i go to the land of nod:)
Its my first christmas card this year and its for a challenge over at Crafty Creations and this week its to incorporate the color purple into your card, well i think i've managed it lol.
As you can see its Tilda with candy cane which i have watercoloured with whispers strokes pens, the papers and sentiment were free from a magazine, cardstockfrom matalic stack by DCWV, velvet ribbon from Trimcraft Smirk creative ribbons, corners cut from dies on my cuttlebug, added a little sukura glitter pen here and there but it does'nt show very well on pic and thats about it.

Hi everyone, At last i got a card made for a challenge.
Its for Sketch Saturday and this weeks fab sketch has been designed by Mandy.
I have watercoloured Tilda with my whispers strokes pens,
the papers are from papermania Temptations (the big one)
and Cordinations card stock for the corners, the piece behind Tilda has been through cuttlebug dots embossing folder, buttons and flowers from stash. I have also decorated the inside and added a nestabilities in centre. Stamp is from stamping all day.
Think i have covered everything.

I am back at last but got nothing to show you all as i am just starting to craft again.

I have'nt been ill but had very little time to spare for crafting and not having a pc has been terrible.

Sad things happen in life that stop you in your tracks...... i've had a few of those times recently but when things get bad.... after so long they can only get better..... so here's to the better times.

I have not done any cards as that thing called life has been keeping me so very busy.
I have done a little crafting but it has been a project for someome else.
I have also had a lot of probs with my PC and i will have to wipe it very soon but there are so many things on it i dont want to lose, think i will have to get a decent size external memory first.
Update on my Slimming World which was on wen eve.............I lost 4 1/2 lb this past week and i'm so pleased as i had put a pound on the week before :0) :0) :0)

mines has been a little hectic nothing serious but these things happen

Hi everyone i managed to do another card today, i must be on a roll

this one is for Friday Sketches Challenge #40

I used the free decoupage download from Daisy and Dandelion and i love it

I used the papers that came with it too and made the flowers with them

using my Impress flower die and fancy corner die for the corners.

I inked around the edges of card and sponged ink on the corners

Hello again, 2nd post today cos i've managed another card whoo hoo 2 in 1 day lol.

I did a decoupage of a pony family by Cuddly Buddly

They are cuddling together so it fits Charisma challenge #7
this week its hugs and cuddles

well i managed to make 2 cards last night, the first one is for

Image is decoupaged and its from Cuddly Buddly (techie girls)

flower made from papers with a punch,

sentiment done on pc,

gems from Anita's gemwheel.

Large and small scallop circles are both punched out.

This one is for Pollycraft Challenge #9

Which is "Think Pink" this week

Papers are from Tinkers&co printed on pc

have added a little sukura clear glitter pen in places.

Evening everyone hope your having a good one,

I have just got back from Slimming World and i'm well pleased, i lost 2 1/2 pound this week thats 7 1/2 in total woo hoo, i got my 1/2 stone award, and slimmer of the week which won me a big bag of fresh fruit, anyway on to the card.

This one fits 3 challenges

Friday sketchers #39

And

Pink Elephant #2 which is bling this week

and

Forever Friends which is a general birthday.

I used PM sweet nothings papers

FF image is coloured using Whispers Strokes pens and sukura pens

Oval cut on cricut and small circle punch from SU.

everything else is from stash.

I highlighted the scrolls on pink paper with a white gel pen.

Afternoon all, Sorry i've been a bad blogger lately but real life caught up with me,

what with 2 birthdays, valentines and Matthew being on hols from school i have been thrown right out of my routine, i have managed to get on for a little now and again and leave some comments for some of you and will do my best to get back to normal a.s.a.p.

I have actually managed to make a card this morning for

Charisma Challenge #6 which this week is cupcakes

Paper are PM sweet nothings (i love these papers),

Image is from Bootiful Stamps watercoloured with Whispers strokes pens,

Gems were all clear ones and i coloured them choc colour with my Whispers permanant markers,

flowers and rest from stash.

Chocolate love bugs in a box for Stamp Something Challenge

Hi everyone,

I made this box last night for valentines day and filled it with these cute little chocolate love bugs. Its for my Dh :)

I used a Newton's Law stamp that i got free in a craft mag, watercoloured it using my whisper strokes pens, cut it out and stuck it on box lid.

Papermania colossal paper pack Love, ribbon from stash.

I am entering this into Stamp Something Challenge which this week is
Something Chocolate :)
